Art Deco Cathedrals – Every Pain & Every Pleasure: An EP

Standard

This sombre post-rock release uses an acoustic guitar as its focal point, something not often seen within the genre. Because of this the album has a murky, brooding feeling. The song Regine Olsen is perhaps the best example of this, where the occasionally discordant guitar constantly provides a source of tension and uncertainty.

Generally an exciting release that will keep you on your toes, but not something to listen to whilst walking alone at night.
