The Missing Leech – Trompetes a Holanda

The fact that I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to this Spanish release without knowing what any of the lyrics mean is a hint towards the quality of the album. Managing to put forward both punk and folk songs the album stays fresh and fun throughout. By not being too ‘folky’ or ‘punky’, the album is highly accessible to listeners who are not fans of either genre.

One of the best things about this release is its quirkiness and varied use of instruments from harmonica, to trumpets, to what I believe is a sitar. Each song sounds different and original, making this album easy to listen to again and again.
