Le Chevalier – Dancer

Dancer is an experimental pop release that manages to remain entertaining despite its reasonably long track lengths – something not often seen in a pop record. Whilst some genres lend themselves to lengthy songs, pop generally does not. However, Le Chevalier pulls it off perfectly and as such this album comes highly recommended.

The range of techniques used on this album is what makes it such a rewarding listen. From hazy soundscapes to field recordings, audio samples to upbeat synths, there is always something new to pique your interest. All in all this creates a really interesting album that is always revealing something new.
