Goldrush Alaska are a folk/rock/country act from Chicago. Their self-titled debut album has some seriously great instrumentation and solid male and female vocals. Expect a classic American country sound at some points. Manages to stay consistently interesting without getting too complicated. All in all a great release with an occasional bittersweet feel to it. (EDIT: This description was for the self-titled album that the band originally made available on Bandcamp. The band has replaced this with an updated album title but the description still stands true.)
